COURBON strengthens its position in industrial engineering by buying out SOFRADEN, a company based in Saint-Etienne.

This company designs and builds equipments for mixing and dosing of powders and granules.

Thanks to this transaction, COURBON has the opportunity to support its growth strategy by complementing its offer in industrial engineering and package vendor: SOFRADEN is a specialist in powders and granules, and COURBON Process Engineering, another subsidiary of the group, is positioned into liquid and pasty processes. The former deals more specifically with the market of material chemistry, and the latter with pharmaceuticals and food & beverage.

SOFRADEN designs and builds mixing units of powder and granules products adapted to each application field, in batch or continuous process, for construction (ceramics, refractory,...), chemistry and environment (treatment of waste, of sludge,…).
SOFRADEN is also a specialist in building of fixed or mobile equipments with peripheral handling, dosing, storing or mixing materials.
SOFRADEN implements its expertise in France and all over the world to famous industrial groups such as Weber&Broutin, Lafarge, Bostik, BASF…
